Becas Ball 2010 – Puerto Vallarta

Nuevo Vallarta is a wonderful place to spend your Spring Break; it’s warm, beautiful, and full of things to do. While you are there, your calendar will likely be full from trying to pack all that the area has to offer into just a few days. When you are putting your schedule together, you may want to save March 11th for the Becas Ball which offers a night of good food and fun while also benefitting a great cause.

The Becas Vallarta America-Mexico Foundation works hard to provide funding for education to children whose families cannot afford anything beyond the basics required by law. This means that many children, no matter how gifted or driven, may not receive more than a junior high education which is why this non-profit organization donates all money generated from its fundraising to help these children.

The Becas Ball includes a complimentary cocktail hour with live music provided by Los Bambinos, a popular local group. There will also be a delicious dinner with wine and even more music! Each attendee will receive a Becas Gift Bag filled with a variety of items donated by local businesses and sponsored by Liverpool. To nicely round out the evening, there will be door prizes, trip give-aways, and art to bid on during a silent auction. Basically, it’s a great evening for a great cause!
