Although Cabo San Lucas has been inhabited for thousands of years, it wasn’t until the early 1900s that a fishing village began to develop there. In the early 1900s an American company built a platform there to catch fish. In 1974 the Mexican government started to create the infrastructure to turn Cabo San Lucas into one of the most attractive visitor destinations in Mexico.
Luxury resorts and hotels are plentiful in Cabo, but many are not conveniently located. Villa la Estancia is located right on Medano Beach and guests are a hop and a skip away from the white sands of the beaches. You can rent jet skis, charter a marlin fishing trip, or go parasailing right from the Marina in Medano Beach.
Villa la Estancia is made up of privately owned condominiums and feature a full staff to make your stay in paradise most comfortable. Rental includes full access to both Villa la Estancia and the adjacent Villa del Palmar. Between the two resorts, there are several pools, tennis courts, restaurants, and a full spa and staffed fitness center.
