Ruth's Chris – The location and decor, especially the marina-side terrace seating, is first class and the service is impeccable. The staff, under the direction of Chef Gustavo Rodriguez, is professional, and their training and teamwork really show. The food is without a doubt some of the best in Los Cabos. Why is the food and service so impressive? Quality control, discipline, high-quality imported ingredients, and then more quality control. The grain-fed beef is imported from Chicago, then cooked at 1600 degrees fahrenheit, and served to you on a plate so sizzlin? you could still fry an egg at your table. The appetizers and salads are all Ruth's Chris fare, so anyone familiar with the high-end chain will know exactly what they are getting. The Ahi Tuna appetizer is done exactly as it should be. The beef is incredible, and no matter what you order, You will not be disappointed. Wonderfully rich and satisfying, the desserts are fabulous and the portions are huge. Havanas – Cuban Casual – When you want to kick back and hear some great live music while enjoying the view of the Sea of Cortez, go to Havanas in San Jose. They have the best mojitos in town and the food is pretty darn good as well. A must visit at least one night during your stay.

Local Eight – Global Cuisine – This restaurant located in San Jose has a fantastic ambience, attentive service and a wonderful music selection. Plus, if you have a big appetite, Local Eight has the most sizable entrees in town.

El Chilar – Authentic Mexican – This place is amazingly different and small. Located in San Jose, it is the taste of Mexico gone slightly global. A must try while visiting La Estancia.

Teguilas – Seafood and Steaks – Dine in the wonderful outside courtyard of one of San Jose’s best kept secrets. Spectacular service and the food is always fresh and creative. This is a great atmosphere for an intimate dinner for two or for a larger group.

Café Sante Fe – Italian – Who says you can’t eat Italian while in Mexico? This place located in Todos Santos has a great atmosphere, makes their own pasta and gets all their herbs from a real Italian herb garden at the restaurant. Don’t miss the beautiful courtyard.
